A Special Thank You to Our Team in Jaipur: A Domino's Pizza Celebration
After a long hiatus due to COVID, Marc, Founder and CEO of Nugent Jewelry, was excited to return to Jaipur, India. The purpose of the trip was to visit the team and tour the new green-certified manufacturing facility. He took the opportunity to meet the 700 artisans who bring Nugent Jewelry to life and show appreciation for how much their hard work and craftsmanship are valued.
Marc’s Words to the Team
During his visit, Marc spoke to the artisans:
“My customers, over 1,500 across the U.S., love what you do and we appreciate you for it. When I asked Raul how many of you were working here now, he said 700, and I knew we had to do something special. One of the traditions in the U.S. is breaking bread together, like a family. So, we’re doing that today — a big pizza party for 700. Why pizza? Because I asked Raul what you like, and he told me McDonald's and Domino's. So here we are!”
Marc continued to highlight the significance of their work, adding:
“The filming you see today is to show our customers who you are and where our products come from. You should be very proud of that. Thank you, Namaste, and let’s enjoy some pizza together!"
A Global Celebration
The Domino's team, eager to help make Marc’s vision a reality, faced the challenge of delivering pizza to 700 people. With four locations and a lot of coordination, they managed to serve the team in batches over three days. And so, Nugent Jewelry’s Jaipur team enjoyed an unforgettable lunch together — a small but meaningful gesture to honor their hard work.
